SaSo Mary

Wednesday

I will do my best to share with you different applications from SaSo addicts out there. . .yes, there are a few already.  Addiction.  Love it.

A good friend sent me this photo Saturday morning after a long night last Friday – how did I not think of this??  OF COURSE, Saso Mary!  I have my own option on the ‘perfect blood mary’ and I take pride in my concoction.  But the fact that I haven’t added the Chile Pequin sauce to my personal blend is frankly. . .embarrassing.  It won’t happen again.  For those of you out there that just can’t quite nail the post hangover treat, I’m happy to share.  Clamato juice is a must. . .if you like to use any of those pre-made blood mary juices, stop reading now. . .or keep reading to save your weekend mornings (and reputation).  Back to business. . .Clamato, Worcestershire sauce, fresh horseradish, lime juice, salt, pepper, Saso’s Chile Pequin sauce (duh), and of course Vodka.  I prefer Tito’s. Garnish with green olives/pickled green beans/peperoncinis and if you are hosting a brunch – rock your guest’s world with an addition of a nice shrimp draped over the side.  Oh, and don’t forget to coat the rim of the glass with a combo of salt and cayenne pepper.

Shake it and shake it well.
